While I agree it will save time, and the computer will automatically concentrate you on your friends....
I personally enjoy seeing new things and learning from others.
Sometimes, actually lots of times, I click on someone I don't know at all and find some really good information.
Now, it may not be a high quality post, sure the author may have made some spelling mistakes but come on, we are all here trying and improving every day.
I would be last person to click hide on a low quality post, miss made 50 spelling and grammar mistakes in the first paragraph of my first post.
FanBox is all about learning and improving. I can appreciate the effort that is being made.
I can also appreciate that for those of us who don't have all day to be online, or limited by internet service, this is a great feature for them to get to their friends quickly.
The best thing is , you have a choice.
My personal choice....most recent stories...and you won't see me clicking hide.
I shudder actually at the thought, if I had missed that post on aspartame...putting ten to twelve pkgs a day in my coffee for years and years, I was having severe problems with my legs and arms, thanks to that post...all that has subsided.
Just by clicking on posts from friends and fans I don't know so well, I have received all kinds of important health information.
Did you know the combination of certain foods could poison you? I didn't ...Rich Rich has a post.
Furthering my online career? Never would have found out how to do it without using the cool people game.
Figuring out how to earn here? A woman I never read before had similar theory's to mine, I was just missing some small details in my learning how to earn here.
Talk about inspiration! Some of the stories I have found!
Cheer up a bad day? I find some of the best jokes just tooling around...matter of fact the one I found below for Lee was someone I never read before! Funny!
And how about making new friends? I would not have my friends if I had not clicked on them and started a relationship by commenting.

For those of you who have been following.
An update on my neighbor...he had a tracheometry yesterday and is still in intensive care....Still in a medically induced coma.
His little girl is doing fine and now has brought her xbox from home over and is busy playing and using my daughter for a live barbie. They are trying different hairstyles and braiding , having fun as girls do.
I went and picked up the motorcycle yesterday, not that bad considering but will need a lot of repair.
I hope you all will continue to pray with me for his recovery.
Here is another guy I never would have met if I only had top stories marked.
